Why this exists
Fourteen years of work, two pages of CV.
A CV lists the stack you are using now. It does not list the database you ran for two years at a job in 2017, or the testing framework you set up last spring. So you get filtered out by a keyword you have, and answer “no” to a question you could have answered yes to.
And if English is your second language, the gap widens under pressure. You know the answer. Saying it in fifteen seconds, on camera, while someone waits, is a different skill from having done the work.

The part that matters
Everything traces back to something you said.
Ask it about a technology you have never used and it says so, then tells you what you have done instead. Ask a question outside your record and it shows you nothing rather than a confident guess.
This is not caution. A fluent invented answer survives being said and collapses on the follow-up, and the follow-up always comes. Saying “I have not shipped that, here is what I have done” reads as confidence. Hedging reads as hiding.
